Eggless Pinwheel Cookies

  • Refined flour (Maida) 1 cup(240 grm)
  • Baking powder 1/2 Tsp
  • pinch of salt
  • Butter 1/5(100 Grm) cup
  • Powdered sugar 1/2 (120 grm) cup
  • Vanilla extracts 1 Tsp
  • Milk 1 Tbsp
  • Cinnamon and Nutmeg powder pinch (optional)
  • Cocoa powder or Chocolate syrup 1 Tbsp


Pinwheel cookies are Spectacular, kids friendly holiday snacks and also a one of the famous christmas cookies. Normally eggs are used for this cookies but here i showed eggless version tasty recipe for all, Preparation method explained below, prepare and give your feedback. 

Take butter in a bowl and cream it, then add powdered sugar, milk and vanilla essence. Mix well until it come creamy texture.

In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, Cinnamon nutmeg powder, salt and fold into the butter mixture mix well and prepare a dough. 

Then divide the dough in 2 equal portion, for one portion add cocoa powder or chocolate syrup and kneed the dough.

Now take a dough, roll it  like chapati and make a rectangle shape, keep the sheet one on top, roll up tightly, wrap it in butter paper, chill it for 25-30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 180°C/ 350 °F/ Gas Mark 4.

Unwrap the cookie dough and cut in to  1/4 inch slices, Place the cookies on the greased baking tray keeping enough distance between each. 

Bake in the pre- heated oven for twenty minutes.

Cooking in Pressure Cooker :-

Preheat the cooker for 15 mins, place 1 empty container in cooker, on top of that place greased cookie tray and bake for 40 to 45 mins in medium flame.
