Little millet Kesari Bath

  • Little millet (Same Rice) 1 cup
  • Sugar 1.1/2 cup
  • Ghee 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder
  • Cashew nuts 10
  • Dry grapes 20
  • Saffron strands 15
  • Hot milk 2 Tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 Tsp
  • Pinch of salt


A famous wedding, typical and royal sweet recipe from western ghat of Karnataka. Step by step recipe explained below, please prepare and give your feedback. 

Wash rice in water for 2-3 times, add 2 cup water then pressure cook it . 

Soak saffron strands in milk for 10 minutes. 

In a kadai take cooked rice, saffron milk and sugar together, keep stiring. 

Once sugar melts add cashewnuts, dry graps and little  ghee and stir continues (add little ghee middle middle and stir it). 

The sweets become little thick and started leaving ghee remove from flame and add lemon juice, cardamom powder, combine well.
