Palak Babycorn Biriyani

  • Spinach or palak 1 bunch
  • Mint or pudina leaves 1/4 cup
  • Cilantro or coriander 1/4 cup
  • Green chilli 1 or 2 (As per ur taste)
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 Tbsp
  • Basmati rice 2 cup
  • Onion 2
  • Capsicum 1
  • Babycorn 10-15
  • Shahi jeera 1/4 Tsp
  • Cloves 4
  • Cinnamon stick 1 small
  • Cardamom 2
  • Star Anise 1
  • Hung curd 1/4 cup
  • Ghee 4 Tbsp
  • Biriyani masala pudi 1 Tbsp
  • Salt as Required
  • Turmeric pinch
  • Lemon 1


Palak is a very rich in iron,vitamins and fiber, include this leaves in our daily diet we can improve our health naturally. Today's recipe is a very healthy, tasty, and perfect lunchbox item for all, especially kids enjoying this recipe a lot.
Wash rice and soak it for 30 minutes, then put it in boiling water with little ghee and salt, allow it to boil, once rice cooked 75 % then drain the water and close the lid set aside for cool.
Grind Palak, mint, cilantro and green chilli together and make afine paste.
Heat ghee in a kadai,add shahi jeera ,cloves , cinnamon stick, cardamom and star Anise fry till it release the aroma.
Now add turmeric, ginger garlic paste, chopped onion, chopped capsicum and chopped babycorn cook till it become tender.
Now add palak paste, biriyani masala powder, salt and curd allow it to cook.
Once masala cook well add cooked rice, salt (if necessary ) and lemon juice combine well. 
Serve hot with raitha.
