Beetroot Paratha

  • Shredded beetroot 2 cup
  • Whole wheat flour 1 cup
  • Oil 2 Tbsp
  • Ghee 3 to 4 Tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Green chilli 2
  • Amchur powder 1 Tsp
  • Chopped ginger 1 tsp
  • Grated coconut ½ cup
  • Coriander leaves

Heat oil in pan add cumin, chopped green chilli, chopped ginger and beetroot fry once.

Then add salt mix well and allow it to cook.

Once beetroot cook well ,  add coconut, coriander leaves and amchur powder mix well and keep it a side.

Take a wheat flour in a bowl add little salt, water knead it, and prepare a smooth dough like chapathi.

Make  a lemon size balls out of  wheat flour dough, sprinkle little wheat flour in rolling board, roll it middle fill the beetroot mixture cover and make a ball, again roll it like chapathi .

 Heat griddle, transfer Paratha to tawa and cook both the sides then apply ghee and serve hot.
